Nate Bostic is in his 12th Season Coaching Junior / Midget AAA Hockey and joins the Boston Hockey Academy after having spent 10 Seasons with the Islanders HC Organization as GM/Director, coaching and building NCDC-U18-U16-U15-U14 levels. Previously, Nate served as Assistant Coach and Director of player personnel for the New England Huskies of the Eastern Junior Hockey League from 2010-2012 and was an Assistant with the Walpole Express in 2009. Nate has helped develop hundreds of NCAA Division 1 and Division 3 Student athletes. During the off season, Nate has worked for many high profile events and camps like Beantown Classic and Dynamic Skating.

Before Coaching, Nate was recruited and played at Niagara University where his teams won the CHA Regular Season Title in 2007, CHA Championship in 2008, and made the 2008 NCAA Division 1 Tournament. After Niagara, Nate signed an ATO with the Worcester Sharks AHLH Team. After preseason, he spent time in both the CHL and SPHL playing Professionally. Leading up to this, Nate played 3 seasons in the EJHL and was a two-time All Star and served as team Captain. Prior to Juniors, Nate was a two-time Massachusetts High School All Star at Wachusett Regional and Captured the HNIB Scoring Title in 2003. Nate is a Worcester, MA Native and now lives in Amesbury, MA with his wife Kara and daughter Grace.

Shawn McEachern

Shawn McEachern, Head Coach, U16 Academy Team


Shawn McEachern will be joining the Academy to coach the U16 Boys Academy Team for the upcoming 2020 season.  Shawn joins the Boston Hockey Academy after spending the last ten years as head boys' varsity ice hockey coach at the Rivers School, an independent grade 6–12 prep school in Weston, Massachusetts.

After graduating from Matignon, McEachern represented Team USA in the 1992 Olympics and then went on to a 13-year NHL career with the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings, Ottawa Senators, and Atlanta Thrashers.  During his professional career, he tallied 254 goals and 317 assists and also won a Stanley Cup championship in 1992 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.   Before his coaching tenure at Rivers, he previously served as an assistant hockey coach at University of Massachusetts Lowell, Northeastern University, and Salem State University.



Jon Lizzotte, Head Coach, U15 Academy Team

Jon Lizzotte is in his 6th Season Coaching Junior / Midget AAA Hockey and joins the Boston Hockey Academy after having spent the past 5 Seasons with the Northern Cyclones and Cyclones Academy serving as their Midget Hockey Director, coaching and building NCDC-Premier-Elite-U18-U16-U15-U14 levels. Many of his players have advanced onto the collegiate hockey ranks. His U15 team won the NH State Championship 3 times and advanced to New England Regionals 4 times. Jon also served as the social media manager, graphic design specialist, and the hockey skills Coach for the entire Cyclones program.

Prior to his coaching career, Jon played for NCAA Division 2 Southern New Hampshire University. Before SNHU, Jon played his junior hockey career with the Hartford Wolfpack, CT Clippers and Maine Moose, where he served as team captain. Jon was also a 2-year captain of Winslow High School and was named Class B Player of the Year, Morning Sentinel Player of the Year, and Class B Forward of the year in his Junior and Senior seasons. Jon is a Winslow, ME native and now resides in Everett, MA with his wife Therese.

Tom Tracy

Assistant Coach and Recruiter, U18 Prep, U16, and U15 Academy Teams


A Matignon hockey alumnus, Tracy was a captain on the 2008 and 2009 State Tournament teams. After playing four years of college hockey at Framingham State University, he continued his career overseas in Germany and New Zealand. In Germany, he won a scoring title and a championship, while also working as a private skills coach. In New Zealand, he operated as head coach of the U20 Auckland Team, and worked as a private skills instructor for Camorra Hockey School. Tracy is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to a new chapter of Matignon hockey.

Head Coach U16 Tier 1 Split Season National Bound Head Coach

Chris starts his second season with the Boston Hockey Academy. Chris is both an accomplished player and coach. He was a standout defenseman at Reading High School as well as at Boston University. While at BU, Chris was named to both the NCAA All American and All Hockey East teams. Selected by the Montreal Canadians in the 4th round, he went on to play seven seasons of professional hockey in the AHL, including two years with the Providence Bruins.

Prior to joining the Boston Imperials, Chris was an NCAA Div 1 Assistant Coach, which included positions at Bentley University and Boston University. At the junior hockey level, Chris served as Assistant Coach of the Islanders Hockey Club NCDC team (USPHL) as well as the same role with the NH Jr. Monarchs (USPHL). A native of Reading, MA, Chris resides in Burlington with his wife and two children.
