Jon Lizzotte

Winchester, MA (February 3, 2020) — The Boston Imperials Hockey Academy has announced that Jon Lizzotte will be joining the Academy to coach the U15 Boys Academy Team for the upcoming 2020 season.  Jon after having spent the past 5 Seasons with the Northern Cyclones and Cyclones Academy serving as their Midget Hockey Director, coaching and building NCDC-Premier-Elite-U18-U16-U15-U14 levels.

Jon's U15 teams have won the NH State Championship 3 times and advanced to New England Regionals 4 times. In addition to his coaching, Jon also served as the social media manager, graphic design specialist, and the hockey skills Coach for the entire Cyclones program.

“I am so happy to be joining the Boston Imperials Academy. They have a put together an extraordinary organization and I am looking forward to help build the program,” said Lizzotte.

Academy Director Nate Bostic added, “Jon has a tremendous reputation for being a tireless worker and a great teacher. He's a perfect addition to our staff and I'm thrilled to have him."

Prior to his coaching career, Jon played for NCAA Division 2 Southern New Hampshire University. Before SNHU, Jon played his junior hockey career with the Hartford Wolfpack, CT Clippers and Maine Moose, where he served as team captain. Jon was also a 2-year captain of Winslow High School and was named Class B Player of the Year, Morning Sentinel Player of the Year, and Class B Forward of the year in his Junior and Senior seasons. Jon is a Winslow, ME native and now resides in Everett, MA with his wife Therese.

 

The Boston Imperials are a USA Hockey Sanctioned Hockey Club headquartered in Winchester, MA with a National Tier 1 Academy Program at Matignon High School as well as fall Tier 1 and Tier 2 National Bound Boys and Girls teams at the U14-U19 Levels.
